Purpose

Approval of
grant funding for the Drakelow Park Flying High Academy new school
pre-opening.

Decision

RESOLVED to:
 

1)     
Note that the new School Drakelow Park Flying High Academy is
scheduled to open in September 2026;

 

2)     
Approve the agreement of revenue support, (a detailed request
with amount to follow) for a Minimum number of pupils to enable the
school to open as planned; and

 

3)     
Approve the revenue funding of £128,000 which is funded
from within the Schools Block of the Dedicated Schools Grant to
enable the initial recruitment process by the academy
partnership.
