The Cabinet Member for Strategic Leadership approved changes to outside body appointments on 29/06/2026. Councillor D Price was replaced by Councillor D Taylor on the Derbyshire Law Centre, Councillor D Elsdon was replaced by Councillor D Price on the Derbyshire Police and Crime Panel, and Councillor S Mabbott was replaced by Councillor Alex Millward on the East Midlands County Combined Authority - Skills and Employment Advisory Committee.

The Cabinet approved allocations from the Children's Services Capital Budget on 02/07/2026. Additional funding was approved for structural repairs at Hadfield St. Andrews Junior School and a roof replacement at Chinley Primary School. The Cabinet also noted the receipt of Section 106 Developer Contributions and the return of funds for completed projects with underspends.

The Cabinet Member for Environment approved the acceptance of two grants on 02/07/2026. A grant of £0.440m from Arts Council England under the Libraries Improvement Fund and a grant of £0.005m from The Reading Agency under the National Year of Reading funding stream were accepted. These grants will support library improvements and reading engagement activities.
