Purpose

Approval to be sought to change a number of outside body appointments following a request from the Reform UK Group.

Decision

The Cabinet Member approved with immediate effect the following changes to Outside Bodies:

a) Councillor D Price be replaced by Councillor D Taylor as a member of the Derbyshire Law Centre;

b) Councillor D Elsdon be replaced by Councillor D Price as a member of the Derbyshire Police and Crime Panel; and

c) Councillor S Mabbott be replaced by Councillor Alex Millward as a member of the East Midlands County Combined Authority - Skills and Employment Advisory Committee. 

Reasons for the decision

To ensure that the Council has appropriate representatives on outside bodies.

No alternative options have been considered as the appointments have been submitted as appropriate by the relevant political group.
