Purpose

To seek approval to change outside body appointments following a request from the Reform UK Group.

Decision

The Cabinet Member approved with immediate effect the following changes to Outside Bodies:

a) Councillor C Wood be replaced by Councillor M Cliff as a member of the Environment Agency - Regional Flood and Coastal Committee for the Trent Catchment;

b) Councillor C Wood be replaced by Councillor M Cliff as a member of the Environment Agency - Yorkshire Regional Flood and Coastal Committee;

c) Councillor R Hatfield be replaced by Councillor S Bent as a member of the Derbyshire Combined Fire Authority; and

d) Councillor T Wilson be replaced by Councillor D Harvey as a member of the Derbyshire Combined Fire Authority. 

Reasons for the decision

To ensure that the Council has appropriate representatives on outside bodies.

No alternative options have been considered as the appointments have been submitted as appropriate by the relevant political group.
