Appeals (Chief Officer) Committee

The Appeals (Chief Officer) Committee hears appeals from the Chief Executive or Protected Officers against sanctions imposed by the Appointments, Remuneration and Chief Officer Conduct Committee, excluding dismissal.

It reviews investigation reports and other relevant information, allowing the appellant to present their case. The committee then decides whether to confirm the original sanction, impose no sanction, or apply a lesser sanction. Its decisions are final.
