About
The Awards, Grants and Transport (Appeals) Committee considers and determines appeals related to financial assistance and transport for students and individuals in Doncaster. This includes appeals for grant aid for students, expenses for children attending special schools, and scholarships or allowances for those over compulsory school age. The committee also handles appeals concerning the provision of free home-to-school or college transport, including the safety of walking routes and payment of reasonable travelling expenses, for individuals who do not meet the Authority's approved policies.
