Health and Adults Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Panel

The Health and Adults Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Panel examines the planning, provision, and operation of health services within Doncaster. It conducts investigations and reviews relevant public bodies and partners, including their relationship with the council.

The panel makes reports and recommendations to NHS bodies, health service providers, the Executive, and the Council. It can request attendance from NHS officers to answer questions about health services and may require NHS bodies to provide information on service planning and provision, subject to legal exemptions. The panel also considers matters referred by Local Health Watch and is consulted on significant local health service reconfigurations.
