Purpose

Uplift request with supporting evidence received from Changing Lives in response to National Living Wage and inflationary pressures. The proposed uplift of xxxxxx is for a lesser amount than what was requested by the provider and this is as a direct result of consultation with colleagues in finance and relevant financial modelling. The relevant budget has sufficient funds to enable the proposed increase to be met and is in line with the contractual terms and conditions.

Decision

To implement an annual uplift of xxxxxx to the Changing Lives Homelessness Contract applicable from 10 September 2026.

Alternative options considered

Alternative options considered - do nothing - rejected as the financial pressures are recognised and sufficient supporting information has been submitted by the provider to support the decision, and relevant scrutiny has taken place by both commissioner and finance.
