Decision

To accept income of £40,000 from XP Multi-Academy Trust to commission and deliver a SEND and Inclusion Multi-Academy Trust Review, facilitated by City of Doncaster Council.

This pilot review, based on the NASEN framework, will evaluate how effectively the Trust meets statutory SEND duties and promotes whole-school inclusion across five areas: leadership, identification, tracking and progress, quality teaching and
intervention, and provision.

The review runs Jan–Jun 2026, with findings informing improvement from Autumn 2026.

Alternatives rejected:
None – this is an opportunity to improve SEND system leadership and partnership and provide robust evaluation or impact with Doncaster Council providing Statutory oversight, local knowledge and alignment with local priorities.
