Purpose

This role is necessary to enable compliance and operational delivery of statutory functions, to further Education and Skills strategic priorities, support effective implementation of Local Reform plan and wider transformation activity at pace.

Development Manager Grade 9 (confirmed through Job Evaluation) – Post established in the structure and funded permanently within Education & Skills budget however currently filled on a fixed term basis (initially on a secondment basis).
Post is full time all year round and responsible for operational management of Education and Skills activity and effective systems and interoperability across the Education and Skills services wider outreach services and partnership working. Convening the wider partnership and education system in relation to development activity, effective communications with schools and education leaders, school and system improvement activity, multi-agency audit and improvement activity and essential support for delivery of the LA’s statutory responsibilities and education functions. Key contact for stakeholders queries and concerns and relationship management.
Funding for this role is included in the CYPF LSE Budget.
