Commissioned grants policy that creates a structure and framework for
Commissioners to offer grants in accordance to the
national government Grant Function standards as an alternative to traditional procurement.

Commissioned Grants Policy be approved.

 

Reason for the decision

 

The Commissioned Grants Policy was an alternative model for
direct community benefit that would streamline the process of commissioning for
our Voluntary Community Sector whilst still ensuring Dorset Council maintained
essential checks and balances, and that Dorset Council got value for money.
