Non-executive
decision to award £2,075 of s106 funding to Three Rivers Partnership to provide
a contribution towards the operation of a community bus scheme for Gillingham.
The proposed service would operate weekly and provide a means of access to town
centre facilities for the elderly and those with
impaired mobility.
The
contribution would support the initial service running costs
including the hiring of a 12-seater minibus with driver. The funding would
allow the service to operate for a period of 6 months.
