Decision: To set and agree the business waste pricing
strategy for 2026-27

 

It was agreed to apply ‘option 2’ where a 3.4% increase will
be applied to the business waste charges for 2026-27.

 

Reasons for the decision

·        
The 3.4% increase is required to cover the
additional service costs in 2026-27

·        
3.4% is the expected rate of inflation for 2026.

Two other price increase options were considered and
discounted
