Traffic Regulation Orders – 20mph and 30mph Speed Limits for various roads in Abbotsbury, Burton Bradstock and Maiden Newton.

Decision

That having considered the proposals to implement the new speed limits as advertised.

Reasons for the decision

Having considered the 20mph policy and information from Dorset Council’s Road Safety Team. Support from the local members and town/parish councils and members of the public the 20mph limits and speed limit reductions are seen as a benefit to the areas detailed above.

Any unsupportive comments received were outweighed by the safety impact and the comments received in support of the proposals.
