That having considered the proposal to implement the Weight Restriction as advertised.

Reasons for the decision

As New Lane is not suitable for HGVs due to width, vision and dangers when leaving the junction along with risk of damaging the properties on New Lane, the weight restriction is to be implemented to prevent the large vehicles becoming stuck/blocking the road and causing damage to properties along the road.
