That having considered the proposal to
implement part of the new parking restrictions as advertised.  

Reasons for the decision

The original
plan would have moved the issue of parked vehicles to a more densely
populated residential area and could produce
inconsiderate and dangerous parking.  

 

Proceeding
with no
waiting at any time restrictions (double yellow
lines)
around the D’Urberville junction will improve visibility whilst also enforcing
the highway code. 

 

Alternative options considered

Reducing the original extent as described above.
