Decision

It was RESOLVED that Cabinet:
 
Noted the update in respect of the disposal strategy and
process undertaken in relation to the Northern Gateway
site; 
 
Approved the recommended option to enter into negotiations
with the preferred bidder identified in paragraph 15 of the Exempt
report at Appendix 2, on terms to be agreed having regard to the
Council’s statutory duties in relation to best
value.
 
Noted that an advertising process under s123 of the Local
Government Act 1972 will be triggered in relation to part of the
site considered as public open space, under the definition of the
Act and will need to be undertaken before any disposal can
occur.
