Purpose

The
Chief Finance Officer’s powers as a Designated Officer to
approve bids for grant funding and/or other financial assistance to
Government departments or other organisations for projects and
initiatives consistent with Council policies and to enter into any
such agreements and arrangements as necessary to secure such
funding (as set out in the Constitution Part 2 Section G2 paragraph
16).

Decision

The Chief Finance Officer to
approve the submission of an expression of interest to EHDC for CIL
funding in the 2022-23 funding round for an additional
£37,700 to supplement the existing funding package for a
Changing Places Toilet in Petersfield Central Car Park subject to
the receipt of future funding being recorded in the Council’s
accounts and any conditions or financial obligations placed upon
the Council being advised to the CFO. The additional funding is
needed as the specification for the toilet has changed from a
modular building to a permanent building.
