Purpose

To consider recommendations on the future of
Woodlands Hall, Headley Down.
 
 
                                               

Decision

It was unanimously RESOLVED that:
 
a.       The continued operation of
Woodlands Community Hall be approved for one year from June 2024
– June 2025 which will require additional top up funding from
the Welfare Fund for two days salary for the Woodlands Hall manager
and three days salary for the Woodlands Hall assistant. This will
be for a fixed term period of one calendar year from June 2024 to
June 2025; and
 
b.       Officers exploring
opportunities during the next 18 months, to be approved to go out
to tender to transfer the asset to an appropriate
body/trust/organisation using the Asset Based Community Development
(ABCD) approach and the Community Asset Transfer (CAT) policy.
