RESOLVED that the Council be recommended
to approve
 
a.              
the proposed Revenue and Capital Budgets for
2025/26 including a Council Tax rate of £151.92 at Band D,
representing a £5.00 per annum increase on the current
charge;
b.             
the proposed reserves and balances, Medium Term
Financial Strategy, Capital Strategy and Treasury Management
Strategy; and
c.              
the Council Tax Resolution.
 
 
Reasons for the
decision
 
To recommend the proposed 2025/26 Revenue
Budget, Capital Budget, Reserves and Balances, Capital Strategy,
Treasury Management Strategy and Medium-Term Financial Strategy
(MTFS) to the Council for approval.
 
Alternative Options
considered
 
There are no alternative options for the purposes of this
report.
 
This decision is
reserved to the Council and is therefore not subject to call
in.
 
The deadline for
submitting amendments to the Cabinet recommendations to Council is
Thursday 20 February 2025 at 4.00pm.
