Purpose

Decision taken pursuant to East Hampshire
District Council (the Council) Constitution Part Three, Section B
Access to Information Standing Order No 49 (‘Special
Urgency’) and pursuant to Part Three, Section G Financial
Procedure Rules Standing Order No G140 (‘External
Funding’).

Decision

That authority is given for the Council to
enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of
Housing, Communities and Local Government for receipt,
administration and delivery of the 2025-26 allocation of UK Shared
Prosperity Fund and Rural England Prosperity Fund and for Officers
to take all necessary steps to execute and give effect to the
requirements of the agreed Memorandum of Understanding.
