Purpose

The Executive Director of Operations has the
power as a Designated Officer, to approve bids for grant funding
and/or other financial assistance to Government departments and
other organisations for projects and initiatives consistent with
Council policies, following consultation with the relevant Cabinet
member, and to enter into any such agreements and arrangements as
necessary to secure such funding (as set out in the Constitution
Part 2 Section G2 paragraph 16).

Decision

The Executive Director of Operations approve
the submission of applications to the Whitehill & Bordon Miller
Home Mills Chase S106 and Whitehill & Bordon Sporting
Facilities S106 funding, subject to the receipt of future funding
being recorded in the Council’s accounts and any conditions
or financial obligations placed upon the Council being advised to
the Chief Finance Officer (in compliance with Constitution Part 3
Financial Procedure Rule G140).
