Purpose
Under the Officer Scheme of
Delegation (Constitution Part 2, Sections G1 and G2), the former
Head of Housing and Community Engagement (responsibilities now
under the Executive Director of Community) was delegated authority
by the Cabinet on 21st March 2019 to agree a policy and
process for the allocation of the Good Causes’ central pot
(Community Chest), following consultation with the relevant Cabinet
member.

allocation of the Community Chest grants, funded by the East
Hampshire Community Lottery, is approved. This policy sets out
