Purpose

To seek Cabinet approval of an Air Quality Strategy 2026–2031 for East Hampshire, which sets out the Council’s strategic approach to improving air quality, protecting public health, and meeting statutory duties.

Decision

It was RESOLVED that the Cabinet:

a)       Approved and adopted the Air Quality Strategy 2026–2031 as set out in appendix 1; and

b)       Delegated authority to the Executive Director of Operations, in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holder, to approve annual updates to the Action Plan.
