Purpose

Under s.33 of the Localism Act 2011 (the Act), Councils are responsible for determining requests for dispensation by Members. The Council’s Constitution, Part 2 Section G (Officer Scheme of Delegation) and Part 4 Section B (Code of Conduct for Councillors), has delegated to the Monitoring Officer the power to grant dispensations for Members allowing them to speak and vote at a meeting when they have a disclosable pecuniary interest.

Decision

That the following dispensations be granted to all affected Members of the Cabinet to enable them to consider and determine the Local Housing Authority Enforcement Policies.

This dispensation will take effect immediately and be applicable for the purpose of enabling Cabinet to make this decision.
