Purpose

The
Director of Community Engagement & Development’s powers
as a Designated Officer to approve bids for grant funding and/or
other financial assistance to Government departments and other
organisations for projects and initiatives consistent with Council
policies and to enter into any such agreements and arrangements as
necessary to secure such funding (as set out in the Constitution
Part 2 Section G2 paragraph 16).
 

Decision

The Director of Community
Engagement & Development to approve the submission of an
application to Hampshire County Council’s Live Longer Better
grant Scheme for Tier 2 Local Authorities for £15,000 to
support the delivery of the Live
Longer Better Hampshire programme subject to the receipt of future funding being recorded in the
Council’s accounts and any conditions or financial
obligations placed upon the Council being advised to the CFO (in
compliance with Constitution Part 3 Financial Procedure Rule G140).
