Purpose

Cabinet to adopt the revised Safeguarding Policy to ensure
EHDC fulfils its statutory obligations under Section 11 of the
Children Act 2004 and the Care Act 2014.

Decision

RESOLVED that
 

a)   
the amendments made
to the existing Safeguarding Policy be noted; and

b)   
the updated EHDC
Safeguarding Policy (at Appendix A) be approved.
