Purpose

To update Cabinet on work and
to seek approval for continued work towards a proposed direction
for the future of the site.
 

Decision

RESOLVED that
 

a.   
the work undertaken
and associated spend to date, to explore options for the future of
the Penns Place site be noted;

b.   
the Project
Initiation Document (PID) at Appendix 1 be approved;
and

c.   
authority be
delegated to the Director of Regeneration & Prosperity and the
Chief Financial Officer the use of £51,000, forming the
remaining part of the original approved £150,000, (which is
held in reserves, to progress the project to Options appraisal
stage, as set out in the PID).
