Purpose

To consider the Regeneration and Economy
Strategy Refresh and adopt the refreshed strategy document.
 
 
                                               

Decision

RESOLVED to recommend to full Council
that
 

a)   
the Regeneration
and Economy Strategy 2024-29 Delivering Prosperity through the
District’s Assets (as set out at appendix 1 of this report,
as amended) be approved;

b)   
the initial Year 1
Delivery Plan (as set out at appendix 2 of this report, as amended)
be approved;

c)   
the updated
‘Invest for Growth’ Regeneration and Economy Investment
Framework (appendix 3, as amended) to enable Council investment for
the purposes of place-making, regeneration and economic development
be approved;

d)   
the outline Growth
Prospectus (appendix 4, as amended) which can be further developed
by officers and used to support the activity in the Regeneration
and Economy Strategy 2024-29 Delivering Prosperity through the
District’s Assets be approved; and

e)   
authority be
delegated to the Director for Regeneration & Prosperity, in
consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holders and Chief
Financial Officer (Section 151 Officer), the authority to agree
future annual delivery plans for the strategy.
