Decision

It was RESOLVED that Cabinet:
 
a. Approved the submission of the
Council’s response (Appendix A) as Local Planning Authority
to the Government’s consultation on the proposed reformsto
the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and other changes to
the planning system, by 24 September 2024.
b. Noted that the Director of Regulation and
Enforcement, in consultation with the Portfolio holder for
Regulation and Enforcement, will make any minor changes required to
the Council’s response (Appendix A), in advance of
submission.
