Decision

It was resolved that Cabinet:
 
Declared the following assets surplus to the
Council’s operational requirements and available for
disposal;
 
•         Land
Adjacent to Forest Community Centre, Bordon
•         Former
Doctors Surgery, 28a Park Street, Bordon
•         A
portfolio of parcels of land
-         Amenity
land, Dell Field, Froxfield
-         Land at
Manor Estate, Alton
-         Land
adjacent to Dennis Way, Liss 
-         Land
adjacent to Conde Way / Apollo Drive, Bordon
•         Rogers
Court car park, Alton
 
Delegated authority to the Executive Director of
Operations, in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer and
s.151, the Monitoring Officer to:
 
Would commission any necessary work to prepare each site
for disposal, including but not limited to, consultations
(statutory or otherwise), appointment of agents, advisors, and
obtaining planning consent.
 
Would Consult with the relevant portfolio holder in respect
of best value.
 
Would dispose of each asset (including freehold or
leasehold) on the most advantageous term available to EHDC having
regard to the Council’s statutory duties under s123 of the
Local Government Act 1972; to obtain best consideration or obtain
best value following consultation.
 
Noted the update on phase 1 asset disposal in (Exempt)
Appendix 1.
 
Noted the Asset Disposal and Rationalisation Framework with
regard to the approach taken in the disposal of the Councils Assets
in Appendix 2.
