Individual Cabinet Member Decision Making - Climate Change, Environmental Services and Sustainability

The Portfolio Holder for Climate Change, Environmental Services & Sustainability is responsible for decisions relating to the council's environmental agenda. This includes championing the Carbon Neutral by 2030 commitment and overseeing community engagement on climate change.

Their remit covers energy conservation for council property and vehicles, sustainable procurement, active travel, and liaison with the Highway Authority on transport infrastructure. The Portfolio Holder also has responsibility for waste management, environmental enforcement, street cleaning, and broader environmental well-being initiatives.
