About
The Portfolio Holder for Planning at Elmbridge Council is responsible for a wide range of planning and environmental matters. This includes developing the Local Plan and planning policies, managing development and enforcement, and overseeing conservation areas and Tree Preservation Orders. The role also covers building control services, the Community Infrastructure Levy, and environmental health functions.
