Resolved that
 
(a)      
the Government position regarding Devolution and Local Government
Reorganisation (LGR), as established in the English Devolution
White Paper, be noted;
 
(b)      
the proposed Elmbridge Borough Council position on Devolution and
Local Government Reorganisation be adopted; and
 
(c)        authority be
delegated to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Leader,
to utilise any of the £250,000 funds allocated for Local
Government Reorganisation within the Council’s
budget.
