Resolved that
 
(a)      
the latest indicative timeline for Local Government Reorganisation
in Surrey be noted;
 
(b)      
the Elmbridge Readiness Plan, as attached at Appendix A to the
report, for the discovery phase of Local Government Reorganisation
be agreed;
 
(c)        the update on
the Ministry of Housing, Community and Local Government (MHCLG)
consultation be noted and authority be delegated to the Chief
Executive, in consultation with the Leader, to sign off an
Elmbridge response to the MHCLG consultation;
 
(d)      
the update on the Neighbourhood Area Committees / Community Boards
be noted; and
 
(e)      
authority be delegated to the Chief Executive, in consultation with
the Leader, to assist with the implementation of the Neighbourhood
Area Committee / Community Board.
