Resolved that
 
(a)      
the updates for Local Government Reorganisation in Surrey and
particularly the Structural Changes Order and Voluntary Joint
Committee update, be noted;
 
(b)      
Surrey County Council’s Neighbourhood Area Committee (NAC)
Pilot report, including the progress made to establish and trial
the NAC model in East Elmbridge, be noted;
 
(c)        the
Neighbourhood Area Committee model as a way of embedding community
engagement into local government with key sector partners, be
endorsed; and
 
(d)      
the continuation of the East Elmbridge Neighbourhood Area Committee
pilot, subject to the support of key partners, up to the
pre-election period in 2026, be agreed.
