Decision

Resolved that

(a)      the update and the plan for a way forward be noted;

(b)      authority be delegated to the Deputy Chief Executive to market the site for leisure and recreational uses;

(c)      an Informal Member Steering Group be established and that this Group be consulted on the bids received from the marketing exercise;

(d)      authority be delegated to the Deputy Chief Executive, in consultation with the Leader, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Culture & Commercial Strategy, Monitoring Officer and Head of Finance and Section 151 Officer, to accept the bid which reflected the best consideration for the Council and met the Council’s aspirations for the site; and

(e)      authority be delegated to the Head of Legal and Governance to deal with any consequential agreements to give effect to the Council’s preferred bid.
