Decision

RESOLVED that

1. the proposed disaggregation of settlement funding, as set out in tables 2 to 4 of Annex A of the report, be noted;
2. the proposed Alternative Notional Amounts of 2026/27 Band D Council Tax level, as set out in Annex B of the report, be noted;
3. the alternative apportionment proposed by Surrey Fire & Rescue Service’s Chief Fire Officer, as set out in Annex D of the report, be noted;
4. authority be delegated to the Head of Paid Service to agree final settlement funding amounts; and
5. subject to the same resolution being passed by the West Surrey Shadow Executive, authority be granted to the Head of Paid Service to submit a joint letter from East Surrey, West Surrey and Surrey County Council to the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government by the deadline of 18 September 2026.
