Decision

RESOLVED that

1. subject to a similar resolution being made by the West Surrey Shadow Authority Executive, the joint consultation response to the Government consultation on the proposed establishment of a Combined Foundation Strategic Authority for Surrey, as attached at Appendix 1 of the report, be approved; and
2. subject to a similar resolution being made by the West Surrey Shadow Authority Executive for its Interim Head of Paid Service, authority be delegated to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Leader and the Monitoring Officer, to make any final minor amendments to the joint consultation response prior to submission, provided that such amendments do not materially alter the substance of the response.
