Resolved that it be noted
that:
 
(i)         the
outturn for 2023/24 had been delivered within budget and was in
line with the Administration’s commitment to strengthen
reserves;
 
(ii)        during
2023/24, £500,000 was allocated to the Cost of Living Crisis
Fund;
 
(iii)      
the funding available for the Transformation Programme had been
increased by £200,000;
 
(iv)      
£500,000 had been allocated to the Climate Change
Reserve;
 
(v)        the reliance
on reserves to balance the budget had been negated; and
 
(vi)      
£2.25 million had been added to the interest equalisation
reserve in line with the Administration’s commitment to build
reserves and protect the future revenue position from adverse
interest rate movements.
