Purpose

The purpose of this report is to outline the
strategic decision for the Integrated Community Equipment Service
to award contracts for healthcare equipment via a procurement
framework - Acute and Community Health and Social Care Equipment
Products and Services- SBS Framework.

This initiative aims to streamline the acquisition of essential
healthcare equipment, ensuring cost-efficiency, improved quality,
and timely delivery. By leveraging the collective purchasing power
and standardised processes of the framework, the service seeks to
enhance operational effectiveness and better meet the needs of the
Enfield residents.
