Approval for the acquisition of affordable
homes at New Avenue Phase 3.

Decision

DECISION: The Cabinet agreed to:
 
 

I       
Approve the Council acquiring 219 properties on the
New Avenue Estate from CPUK for the price set out in Part 2 of this
report and letting these properties for social rent.

II     
Approve entering into a purchase agreement and any
agreements associated with the purchase agreement - including
consultancy agreements and statutory services and early works
agreements relevant to the acquisition

III    
Delegate authority to the Director of Law and
Governance to agree the form of legal documents related to the
acquisition via a purchase agreement and if required any variation
to the current development agreement.
