Purpose

The VAWG strategy sets out the Enfield
community safety partnership (referred to as the SSCB) approach to
prevent and address violence against women and girls with the
vision to: “Create a borough where all residents live a life
free from domestic abuse and violence against women and
girls

DECISION: The Cabinet agreed to:
 

I.   
Note the endorsement of the Safer Stronger
Communities Board made on 28 November 2025 for the statutory
partner organisations to adopt the Violence Against Women and Girls
Strategy 2026-25.

II.   
Note the endorsement of the Violence Against Women
and Girls Strategy 2026-35, by the Healthy and Safe Scrutiny
Committee at their meeting on 9 December 2025.

III.   
Approve the Enfield Safer Stronger Communities Board
Violence Against

Women and Girls Strategy 2026-35.
