The Leader of the Council, Cllr Alessandro Georgiou, approved the replacement of end-of-life boilers at Southbury and Southgate leisure centres on 16/9/26. The decision allocated £286k from the Pipeline capital budget to fund the replacements. New energy-efficient gas boilers will be installed at both centres.

The Executive Director of Housing & Regeneration decided on 11/09/2026 to approve the terms for a settlement agreement with Meridian Water Film Studios Limited. This decision aims to end the existing lease for occupation of land at Hawley Road, Meridian Water, to support a revised delivery strategy. Authority was delegated to finalise the agreement and dispose of Stages 2 and 3.
