Homelessness Prevention Strategy

Decision

DECISION: The Cabinet agreed to:

      I.         Approve a 6 week consultation on the draft Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2026-2031 attached at Appendix 1.

     II.         Delegate authority for amendments to the strategy and action plan following consultation, to the Cabinet Member for Housing and Executive Director of Housing & Regeneration.

   III.         Subject to the above agree the publication of the action plan and associated targets for publication by 1 December 2027.

  IV.         Note that delivery of the Strategy will be supported by a detailed Action Plan, which will be reviewed and updated annually during the life of the Strategy.
