The Cabinet Member for Children and Family Services (Cllr Chris Dey) approved the acceptance of £6,596,000 in grant funding for the Best Start Family Hubs and Healthy Babies Programme on 23 June 2026. The council will also accept £25,500 for the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile Assessment Support Grant. The decision includes undertaking procurement for specific mental health support services and implementing organisational delivery arrangements.

The Executive Director of Housing & Regeneration approved the award of Employer's Agent and Technical Assurance Services to support strategic infrastructure works on 27 August 2026.
