The Executive Director of Housing & Regeneration approved recommendations on 10 July 2026. The decision was to approve the purchase of Council Housing electricity supplies from LASER's "Purchase in Advance" (PIA) purchasing model from 1st October 2026, varying the Council's existing corporate electricity contract. This includes approving the appointment of nPower as the supplier and the procurement of REGO certified electricity unless the premium exceeds 5%.
