About

The Licensing Act Panel is responsible for making decisions on specific types of licensing applications under the Licensing Act 2003. This includes personal licence applications where there is an objection from the police or where unspent convictions are disclosed. The panel also considers applications for premises licences, club premises certificates, provisional statements, and variations to these licences or certificates when relevant objections are made and not withdrawn. Additionally, it handles applications to vary the designated premises supervisor, transfer premises licences, and for interim authorities, particularly when the police have raised an objection.
