The Licensing Act Panel of Gedling Council is scheduled to meet on Thursday 2 October 2025 to consider an application for a premises licence for Goosedale Farm External Areas. The panel will also approve the minutes of a previous meeting held on 18 March 2024.

The panel is scheduled to consider an application from Goosedale Events Ltd for a premises licence at Goosedale Farm External Areas, Goosedale Lane, Bestwood.

• William Langston, Principal Environmental Health Officer at Gedling Borough Council, has objected on the grounds of prevention of crime and disorder and prevention of public nuisance, citing instances of antisocial behaviour³ and public safety concerns related to intoxicated people walking on Moor Road. He has offered to negotiate a reduction to a maximum of 3 events per year.

• Michael Billings of Goosedale Cottage West, Goosedale Lane, has raised concerns about antisocial behaviour, access issues, speeding vehicles, noise nuisance and public safety.

• Rob and Jill Carlyle of Waxwings, Lamins Lane, have objected to the extension of opening hours until 2:00am, citing concerns about noise and its impact on wildlife.

• Drs Nigel and Susan Sturrock of Keepers Cottage, Lamins Lane, have objected to the extension of the licence until 2am seven days a week, citing concerns about noise disruption.

• Bahjat Marco Fanous of Hill Top Farm, Goosedale Lane, has objected to the application, citing concerns about disruption to residents and animals, public safety and access for emergency services.
