Environment Scrutiny Committee

The Environment Scrutiny Committee scrutinises the County Council's work on environmental matters, as outlined in Article 8 of the Constitution. It examines policies and performance related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, highways, flooding, minerals and waste, major infrastructure projects like the Local Transport Plan, air quality, public transport, parking, and road safety.

This committee provides oversight and makes recommendations to the council, focusing on how these areas affect the public and the environment within Gloucestershire.
